The First

So this is the first post of my new blog. Why I'm blogging, not quite sure yet but I need to do something. I have to admit to blog stalking a few blogs of late which have both inspired and challenged me in a good way. At the moment I feel like I'm living in limbo due largely to the earthquake and not working while waiting for the kids to go back to school. This is not going to be an earthquake blog however at this time it does play a significant role in my life, not only dealing with my own fears and loss, but also the guilt of what I still have and the inability to live normally and not really comprehending yet what the "new normal" will be.
